What’s for Breakfast?

While we have posted a lot of great recipes on here so far, it is important to know that they’re not always so… gourmet. One question I’m always getting asked is, what do I eat for breakfast?

The answer? It’s basically the same foods you would eat for lunch and dinner. There is no “breakfast food group” in Paleo world. If it’s a lean meat, good fat, or non-starchy veggie or fruit, it applies!

After a very hard workout the other morning (Fran, etc.), I was so happy to come home and have all of this food ready to go for me. I ate:

  • 4 Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 1 Cup Chopped Red Pepper
  • 1/4 Cup Macadamia Nuts

I was totally satisfied & full for hours. And to me, it tasted better than any french toast or pancake I may have had in my previous life. That’s just how it goes once you get going on Paleo. The good foods just look and taste SO GOOD.

So get over your pancakes, your bran muffins, your breakfast cereals, or whatever else you used to eat, and load up on a nice plate of meat. Your body will thank you!
